Consumed Body Purification System is a satirical commercial for a fictional kitchen countertop appliance that brews a meal-replacement drink of its owners’ cloned and liquefied biomass, speculating a future where auto-cannibalism is the diet of choice for the health-conscious consumer

Made while Mills was in graduate school in 2017, this video was the first iteration of a larger project called CONSUMED, which would later become her graduate thesis project.

In 2017, Consumed Body Purification System screened at Imperfectu International Film & Gender Studies Festival in Tijuana, Mexico.

Mills wrote, shot, hand modeled and edited this project. She also fabricated the prop coffee machine.
