Soft Tissue is an ongoing series that explores the human form through slime and other viscous materials, leveraging the tactile and organic nature of these substances to recreate the textures, forms, and fragility of organs and flesh.
Drawing inspiration from the aesthetics of advertising, hand models are often used in the series and serve as vessels through which the viscous materials come to life. The way hands interact with the slimy substances conveys the delicacy and precision required in both art and science while also presenting the audience with organic products potentially for purchase in our near future.
